History of Goofy Booth
2012
- The idea to start a photo booth was decided. We started by researching photo booths available for purchase. Unfortunately none met our requirements so we started planning the design of the photo booth.
- We decided the photo booth should be fun and wacky so the name was decided, Goofy Booth.
- Work started on the design of the photo booth.
- Booth Construction began.
- A logo was developed and website launched.
2013
- We finished the construction of the Photo Booth
- Test Run… Our Wedding!!! The Head Goof got a Mrs Goof
- Bookings start to flood in for Mackay area, Airlie Beach, Moranbah and Rockhampton.
- Modifications were made to improve the photo booth in both design and portability.
- A new logo was designed to better suit the image of Goofy Booth
2014
- We launch a photo booth in Rockhampton to save travel from Mackay to Rockhampton.
- March 2014 we pass 200 Likes on Facebook.
- We make custom backdrops available for all bookings.
What is Goofy Booth?
Goofy Booth is a fun and exciting photo booth available for hire in the Mackay area.
The first booth was developed by Scott & Kylie to use for their own wedding. Since then Goofy Booth has been developed into what you see today. Currently Goofy Booth has two booths available for hire. That means twice the fun and shenanigans!! One booth is based in Mackay and the other is in Rockhampton.
Scott (Head Goof) is a Commercial Photographer at SGB Photography and therefore has extensive photography experience. As a result you get better photos.
We have thousands of dollars worth of equipment invested in Goofy Booth to ensure you receive the best product.
With any hire we come to your event (generally a hour before hand) and set up. One of our friendly Goofs will stay with the Booth to help your guests have a fantastic time. At the end of the night the attendant will unpack the booth and take it away. No fuss!
Your guests can use the Goofy Booth during your event for free, strike any poses and then they get a 6″ x 2″ photo strip to remember the event by.
How much is Goofy Booth to hire?
Our Goofy Booth is very affordable to hire and includes unlimited prints during your event.

How long do we get the Goofy Booth?
We can supply to Goofy Booth to your event for as long as you need it.
If your event is 3 hrs, not a problem… How about all day, even better… Your guests get longer to have a ball in our Goofy Booth.
What do I get with the hire?
When you hire a Goofy Booth, you get your own Goof (others call an attendant), who sets up the Goofy Booth.
Depending on your configuration, your guest can get a 6″ x 2″ photo strip and you get a duplicate so everyone can have a keep sake. Goofy Booth will also you with a black Moleskine guest book for guests to glue in their strips.
The artwork on your photo strips can be customised to your needs. We can co-ordinate with your event colours, add business or charity logos and match themes. Beach wedding… sure not a problem. You like pink unicorns or motor bikes… Let’s see what we can do!
You also get a copy of the photos in digital form (on a USB) in case you want do use them for newsletters, your Facebook Page and blackmail… It’s up to you.
At the end of your event you will be given your USB with the digital copies of all photos and your guest book. Our Goof will then pack up the Goofy Booth and remove it.
