NewLife Church - Reaching Thousands Conference 2013

This past weekend, Friday 31 May 2013 to Sunday 2 June 2013, NewLife Church hosted their annual mission’s conference. The Reaching Thousands Conference is run to raise awareness and fund to help those less fortunate both locally and around the globe.

The concept of Reaching Thousands Conference

The concept behind the Reaching Thousands Conference is just that, to reach thousands of people. It is great to see a local church in Mackay doing great things for those both locally and globally.

Goofy Booth’s Involvement

We at Goofy Booth, decided to help raise money for those in need by setting up our photo booth and running it over the conference. We had it as a gold coin donation and the booth was a huge success.

The NewLife Foundation was involved in bringing over a team from India, included some students from the slums in Jaipur. It was quite moving to meet these people and to help give them a great experience. We encouraged them to try the photobooth and they loved it. The photo strips are a keepsake they will take home and show their family, memories of a life time trip.
